Shanghai Trip
I went on a short trip to Shanghai with a few degenerate friends over the weekend to celebrate my birthday and another fellow Gemini. Our goal was simple: visit as many of Asia’s 50 Best Bars as possible. We didn’t do too bad.
Here are the bars we visited:
My favourites are Speak Low and Paal. And I found my favourite cocktail so far at Paal: the “black glutinuous rice, longan, pandan, and fermented grape” (pictured below). So good.
Bar-hopping was definitely fun as our group of friends included a mixologist from Hong Kong’s Savoury Project. She knows everyone so getting into the bars wasn’t an issue.
